We will always remember Dave with deep appreciation and respect—Dave was a true craftsman of rock whose music became part of the soundtrack of many of our lives.
As a founding member of Traffic, Dave helped shape a sound that blended rock, folk, and soul in a way that still feels timeless today. His songwriting gave us classics like “Feelin’ Alright,” and his solo work carried that same honest, laid-back spirit that made his music so easy to connect with.
For many of us in the RLC Party’ers community, Dave wasn’t just a name in rock history—he was part of the experience. He performed with us on Rock Legends Cruise III (2015), and those moments at sea made his music even more meaningful to all of us who were there.
Those of you who were lucky enough to meet Dave all seem to say the same thing… he was the real deal.
Dave had his own style—and it was never about showing off, never about flash. It was all about feel. The way he played, the way he sang… it just hit you right where it mattered. There was a warmth and honesty in his music you can’t fake, and you sure as hell can’t replace.
That’s why this one cuts a little deeper… because guys like Dave don’t come around very often.
Today, we don’t just remember the music—we remember the man behind it, and the memories tied to it.
Rock In Peace, Dave. You will never be forgotten.
